to the moon and back

I put Railroad Track in my playlist of 2012 and you probably already heard his song Yeah Yeah in the ad for 'Ipod'. Willy Moon is a young musician from New Zealand who just releases, after few singles, his first album! I really like his retro-pop-songs and his black&white photography too...so I wanted to make you discover him!

PS: Yes, the title of this post refers to the song of the band Savage Garden...

"I ain't waste no more time
See that girl, she's so fine
And I know that she's mine
'Cause she said she loves me yeah
She said something to me
Just wait and see
How it's gonna be
'Cause she said she loves me yeah
She said she loves me now
She really loves me now
She's my baby and I think I love her too..."   > Willy Moon

bring colours in my life

DIY ribbon + nail art = how to spend a nice Sunday afternoon!

“Over and over many setting suns
I have run, I have waited for the rain to come
When through that mist I see the shape of you
And I know, and I know that I'm in love with you…”      > Two Door Cinema Club

summer without you is as cold as winter

Ta daaaa! Sun finally came back and I'm enjoying it since three days!

“Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go
Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go…”          > Passenger

'eternal optimistic' & sketches & music

'Eternal Optimistic' is my favourite Essie nail polish! I was searching  this shade for a long time and this one is just perfect...besides that I just fell in love with Essie itself...

How I can summarize it: soft pink = classy and girly

"Take a bunch of optimists, and drop ‘em in the same boat
I don’t really gotta' take so long - take so long
but I'm missin’ all the times in the past
when I couldn’t see your face at all..."                  > Hoodie Allen

without hope we live on in desire

I usually don't really like wishlists on blogs - capitalism at its finest - but here a selection of what I recently found on the web (that I probably won't buy) while we're still waiting for the sun...

“I feel something so right
Doing the wrong thing
I feel something so wrong
Doing the right thing
I couldn't lie, couldn't lie, couldn't lie
Everything that kills me makes me feel alive

Lately, I've been, I've been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But baby, I've been, I've been praying hard,
Said no more counting dollars
We'll be counting stars…”                > One Republic
